Funding
The FRC has a wide range of activities. Some of those activities are subject to specific funding arrangements and/or are likely to experience considerable volatility from year to year (depending on the number and complexity of cases) and, therefore, cannot be subject to firm budgetary limits. The Directors believe that it is helpful to have a framework (the "Financial Management and Reporting Framework") within which to manage and report on the costs of its activities and how they are funded. Details are set out in Annex D of the Regulatory Strategy.
